My Work
I’ve covered a lot of ground in my career so far. Here’s some of the stuff I’ve made that I like the most.
-Rachelle Koening, Senior Content Strategist & Healthcare Marketing Specialist, Clariant Creative Agency
Ali is a delight to work with. Here's why:
She gets the big picture. Undoubtedly, you're going to ask to work on a piece or campaign that is somewhat granular and then have to contextualize how it fits into your overall strategy. Not only does Ali ask the right questions to best understand that context, she remembers what you tell her.
She's not afraid to up your game. Ali is great about looking at the assignment and making suggestions (where appropriate) to make that content deliver on your overall goals.
She delivers on time and communicates when she needs more time. Ali understands the nuances of project runways and delivers content when we ask for it. She also lets us know ahead of time when her traditional timeline might not work so we can adjust in advance.
Her work is excellent. There's a big difference between getting words on a page with keywords for SEO and doing that with a well-written piece that keeps readers on the page. Ali's work is always in the latter category.
She is a delight to work with. Ali is just a lovely person. She is positive, kind, communicative and just an overall joy to work with.
5 stars. I highly recommend.
Global Health Strategies: Project Management for International Campaigns
Consulting for the World Health Organization and Rockefeller Foundation, I lead the project management of two major international events that “set the bar” for future events and wrote “inspiring” talking points for the Secretary of the UN General Assembly.
Human Parts: Mending the Mistranslated Meanings of Mother’s Day (Personal Essay)
I wrote a personal essay that was chosen as a top Medium Staff Pick that wove together the many ways that motherly love — and the very way Mother's Day is celebrated — can be misinterpreted. And how that can be a catalyst for change.
